This site is dedicated to the memory and modeling of the Western Pacific (WP) Railroad. This unique railroad served California, Nevada and Utah up until 1982 when it was acquired by the UP. The WP was known for its bright silver and orange livery, its mainline path through the scenic Feather River Canyon, and as a competitor to the Southern Pacific Railroad.

I model the WP in N scale (1:160). This web site documents some of this modeling, and research and analysis done while planning the models and layout.

Data and pictures on both the prototype (original equipment) and manufactured models are presented. This information is provided to increase public knowledge of this important part of history and to assist  modelers in all scales.
